
As Conservative Parliamentary candidate for Aberdeen South, Mark has been working hard to campaign on important issues in the local area. Mark enjoys chatting to people at community days, fighting for our community and going to Mannofield's new circles cafe for a coffee.
A university graduate with an honours degree in history and politics, Mark is currently an organic farmer with a personal interest in environmental issues. Mark previously owned and managed his own news-agency business.
Mark has a wealth of political experience having served for a number of terms as a Conservative councillor in Redbridge which included posts as Vice-Chairman of the General Services Committee and Police Liaison Committee.
Mark has also worked to support young people serving on education appeals panels, a number of school boards and also youth centre management committees. In Aberdeen Mark has been a vocal supporter of organisations like the Aberdeen City Youth Council and Scottish Youth Parliament.
In his leisure time Mark enjoys travelling, reading and supporting the RNLI and various animal charities. He also has a keen interest in sport and is a former cross country runner.
